this is one of the best editorials iv read in a long time. its quite aptly named My fnatic vs your fanatic. it talk about the double standards we have when it comes to higlighting fanaticism. when the taliban persecutes anyone, the media is quick to highligth the crime and the viewers are outraged in equal measure, the same people turn a blind eye to similar events in other societies(notably the ones that are friends of the USA). though this view is fairly obvious, it hasnt been given adequate coverage. read on and leave your commnets- http://www.dawn.com/wps/wcm/connect/dawn-content-library/dawn/the-newspaper/columnists/my-fanatic-versus-your-fanatic

hi,
finally i get down to writing !have been procrastinating for ages. i need 2 thank nandita for making me create this blog and arijit for prodding me into finally writng smtin. thank you guys!!
For those of u who have no idea what this blog is about, i 'l just say its dedicated to alternative views. ideas which the mainstream just chooses 2 ignore or that odd view that gets little coverage. i might not subscribe to all the views expressed but feel its important to know the flip side story. i plan to put together editorials , articles, book reviews and anything else that might offer a new insights into current event or any other mundane everyday activity.
